Life Coaching
Life coaching with me is not about me being the expert of your goal, but me being the expert in how to drive you towards your goal. I will always deem you as the expert on your own journey.

At Inner Betterment, coaching is not only about the motivation, but is also about challenging you to make the changes you want in life.

I will draw on your skills and qualities to help you move toward your goal and I will also support you to understand what hinders you - whether this is an internal or external factor, or conscious or unconscious.

I utilise theories/models of change, which I have worked with for years to help you succeed.
Counselling & Psychotherapy
My training is grounded in a "practice based evidence" approach, which means that my way of working has been measured as successful.
​
Many therapies are taught in a "top-down" way, meaning it's about talking through problems, or applying techniques. The problem with this, is people can often fall back into old patterns. Top-down therapies do not offer healing and are merely a band aid.
​
In therapy with me, you will experience a combination of top-down and bottom-up therapy. This means that I will support you to process traumas, stuckness and self sabotaging, so that you can heal and be in control. Bottom-up work includes the use of the soma (greek for body) i.e. Somatic work and is trauma aware and does not require the use of touch.

In this fast paced world, people seldom have the time to acknowledge themselves, their needs, nor have time to listen into the wisdom held by their own bodies. This approach is something I utilise a lot and has successful outcomes.

In addition to this, I work with relational and attachment theories, meaning I am an a position to understand the impact of early relationships on the way you live today, and can help you to gain insight and healing in your relationship with yourself and others.
