My Approaches
Life Coaching

Life coaching with me is not about me being the expert of your goal, but me being the expert in how to drive you toward your vision.

At Inner Betterment, coaching is not only about the motivation, but it is largely about challenging you to become the best version of yourself.

I will draw on your skills and qualities to help you move toward your goal and I will also support you to understand what hinders you (naturally). Peaks and troughs are allowed and I will support you to handle them both well.

I utilise various theories/models of change, which I have worked with for years as well as personally to help you succeed.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

My training is grounded in a "practice based evidence" approach, which means that  my way of working and ability to adapt to each client are proven to support you to make the positive changes you want.

I integrate human development theory and attachment theory to inform my relational work, as I understand that early life experiences can impact a person throughout life, until resolved. This is integrated with the Gestalt approach, which believes that the client is the expert of their own experience.

 

Further to my approach, I incorporate creativity, having worked with various kinds of art in her sessions and somatic (body) work without the use of touch, as trauma is known to be remembered by the body more so than the conscious mind.

Other approaches which I have worked with to deliver workshops to groups include Mindfulness, Solution Focussed and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I have witnessed my approach to be successful over the years, and have seen many clients achieve their journey to inner betterment.
